U.S. 41 from Old Gladiolus Drive to the north of S. Airport Road
BAI provided design, surveying, permitting, bid assistance, and CEI services to Lee County Utilities (LCU) for the U.S. 41 Transmission Line Improvements project. The project included the removal and replacement of over 3.5 miles of existing potable water mains and sanitary force mains ranging in size from 3” to 24” open bury PVC and DIP and HDPE directional bores along U.S. 41 from Old Gladiolus Drive to the north of S. Airport Road. The project included extensive permitting and coordination with FDOT, Lee County DOT, FDEP and Lee County Department of Health. The total construction cost for the project was $11,510,470.
