Hanson Street Extension CEI

Description: BAI provided CEI services to the City of Fort Myers for the Hanson Street Extension Project. The project extended Hanson Street from Veronica Shoemaker Boulevard to Ortiz Avenue. The project included over two miles of roadway construction, including open and closed drainage systems and utilities. The project also constructed two new roundabouts, one at the Hanson Street/Veronica Shoemaker Boulevard intersection, and a second at the Hanson Street/Ortiz Avenue intersection. BAI was responsible for CEI services overseeing the new roadway construction, including both roundabouts, all drainage improvements (open and closed), and the City of Fort Myers utilities within the Hanson Street and Ortiz Avenue right-of-ways. Additionally, BAI was responsible for completing the drainage and utility record drawings. The total construction cost for the project was $19,845,252.
