Located at the entrance to downtown Fort Myers from I-75, Eastwood PUD provides prime infill development opportunity within City limits. Assisting the landowners to achieve their individual goals, the BAI planning department created a separate break-away PUD for a 44-acre commercial corner and created distinct parcels within the parent PUD. Entitlements include residential development up to 2,600 units, continued public golf course, future City and Lee County parcels with over 500,000 sf commercial/institutional uses, and the framework for future road alignments of Edison Avenue and Arcadia Street.
