Tessa LeSage was awarded the US Green Building Council’s member of the year for the SW Florida branch in an awards ceremony at the University of South Florida’s St. Petersburg Campus.

LeSage serves as the Director of Social Innovation & Sustainability for the Southwest Community Foundation, and has previously served as the former Sustainability Manager for Lee County, as well as being a board member of the US Green Building Council’s local chapter for several years. She also served as a land planner with Barraco and Associates, Inc. before joining Lee County.
